New years Day Events?

I was planning on going to Brooklands for the New Years Day event. http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/details/new-years-day-gathering3/ Sounds like it's going ahead as they've cleaned up after their recent flooding.

Anyone else going? or does anyone have any suggestions for any other events?
 
Brooklands event is very tempting, but the weather forecast is for a washout!.....damn shame [:mad:]

Not sure what else is on, if anything?
