Guys and Girls i need numbers for this, I need to confirm to the hotel by 19th December numbers so please mail me if you are wanting to attend. (I will also be out of the country the week prior to this on holiday so i do want it sorted before we head off on holiday)[;)][/b]

New Years Run and Lunch[/b]

After the usual festivities we are planning a run to Castle Venlaw Hotel for some lunch. Format will be West Coast members meeting up at the Popinjay Hotel and East Coast Members meeting up at the Shell Petrol Station in Dreghorm at 11am for a drive to Castle Venlaw Hotel for lunch around 1pm. I require numbers attending in order to confirm the booking and would ask that those planning on attending contact me asap to confirm.

I am going along there this Sunday with the Tipec club will give a report on the place . The owner is a member of the club Pierre, has been very generous in a few charity events I have done so only right to support him with a club meet
 
Just back from the venue [link=http://www.venlaw.co.uk]www.venlaw.co.uk[/link] had a good turnout 26 people braved the weather,the place is very nice and welcoming and we where joined for lunch by the owner Pierre and his wife Maria. The food was good we had a special menu laid on for us ,a nice setting we will try his other hotel some time www.pag-hotels.com[link=http://www.auchencastle.com%C2%A0] [/link] I mentioned PCGB where thinking about coming down and he said you will be most welcome .
 
Us too please! Never been south of Edinburgh. Will be the workhorse as the track cars are tucked away. Charles & Shauna

I’m fine with paying, but we’re not leaving the puppy home alone for that long! I’ll drop Pierre an email and see what the hotel’s dog policy is … By the way Scott, Jen and I are club members again now. Finally sold the older of my 944s, so we can afford a few little luxuries again.
 
Hi all, this is the final numbers for the run on the fourth John H + 1 Bill Main + 1 Chris + 1 Keith Bell + 1 Boydy + 1 Charles + 1 Alan L + 3 Donald + 3 Tony + Jen SL + Am 24 off - I will sort out two tables of twelve and get Bill Main (ARO) to confirm meeting times as I am heading of to Austria tomorrow for a week skiing. A Happy New Year to everyone and I hope the hangovers are fading away. Just to confirm the arrangements for Sunday the lunch has been booked for 1PM on Sunday at Castle Venlaw and, as per the initial post we are meeting at 11am at Dreghorn Services on the A720 Edinburgh Bypass for those travelling from the East and the Popinjay Hotel, Rosebank on the Clyde Valley for those from the West. Driving down to Peebles for 12 - 12.30. Anyone else wishing to join us please let me know asap so I can check with the hotel. See you on Sunday Bill 07767395252
