Picked up my first ever Porsche from Colchester Porsche Tuesday...and then drove down to Bordeaux. Just a bit of a baptism of fire as the weather was for most of the journey torrential rain and high cross winds...but the car behaved impeccably..First impressions of the car...in the rain were great. When we eventually got some dry roads..wow what performance, I have been racing a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K7 for the past two years and this car is just about up with that bike, if not better...I'll let you know when I get more confidence with it.

We stopped here for Tuesday night, Chateaux du Landel. 166 miles from Calais and just to the west of Paris. The rain managed to stop just for the photos

2nd day more bad weather so couldn't really use the cars performance but again in standing water and high winds the car was great..now in Bordeaux, the sun is out and the roads are empty..........I'll report further!!

It is a baptism of fire, but I'd agree that France is a great place to learn about your car [:D]

Looks great... I've fixed the images [;)]

Hi Madracer

Enjoy your car, they really are a revelation - and very enjoyable - when you can get your foot down!
