I take delivery of my 997.2 C2 PDK from OPC East London next Saturday having px'ed my 996 C2. Looking forward to this forum after 4+ years on the 996 one. Will post some pics idc. Oh yes - what does extended navigation mean as part of the PCM3.0 system - is it different from normal PCM navigation? What are the forum's views on PVTS - worth it or not? I had Tracker Horizon on my 996 but the replacement - Tracker Locator is significantly more expensive than the Horizon system to do much the same thing.

Aha, welcome to the 997 register, David and congratulations!
As I recall the extended nav does off road (very handy in a 997 - not!) and reverse route and similar stuff. I don't bother with the Cobra anymore as my insurance company doesn't require it, but I do have anther form of tracking device.
Look forward to seeing you both and the car at an R15 event next year and maybe the odd 997 register event too - there's plenty of them. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both
Alan
