Hi all,

Just a quick hello and to say I picked up my 2000 996 turbo last night and what a car, I've owned various high performance cars including skyline GTR's with over 500bhp but I must say the 996tt is absolutely awesome, much easier to drive and with endless power.

I'm sure i'll be asking lots of silly questions during the next few weeks/months

Not sure about the wheels though!

Welcome! Cracking looking motor, best colour too!

Like you not too sure about the wheels, they may be a grower though [;)]

Welcome and health to enjoy it. You've got a cracking motor. Blue ones are faster though [:D]

thanks for the comments guys.

Spec is a little basic although it does have Nav and grey leather. 72k and full service history most of which is at Portiacraft. Rads, brakes and clutch all recently done.

Perhaps I should think of going for the two tone look, blue over silver like the old Bedford's

The only important thing you need in the car is the loud pedal on the right. Still gives me a laugh after 18 months.

Richard!

Despite what Min says, you did get the fastest colour! Are they 19" wheels? Jury is out at the moment, but a bigger picture might help. [;)]

Yes 19" i'll probably keep an eye out for some original wheels as these are a bit to bling for me, although my 12 yrs old son thinks there great!

Great car. Hope you enjoy it.

Reckon you should ditch the wheels though, if you can afford to. They look like they belong on a BMW!
