Newbie saying Hi and asking a question!

Hi guys, I recently acquired a 2007 997 Carerra S with the intention of running it until a 5-litre Jag F-type became available at a sensible price, BUT having had the Porsche for 3-months now I absolutely love it!! And I am no longer looking for the Jag. My sights are now set on a GT3 RS 997 but I think that will take some more saving!

Anyway here's the question. Do you run a group trip to Goodwood FoS? Does membership bring any advantages at Goodwood, i.e. The Porsche Cafe!! What are the vitals I need to know as a new club member?

Cheers

Hi CD and welcome to R19.

The club as a whole will have a presence at FoS and the club marquee will be there offering refreshments but as far as I know Porsche GB does not offer any discount to club members at The Porsche Café. I am going to FoS on the Thursday with another R19 member but at £70 I confess I won't be taking advantage of the Porsche Café.

There is no official R19 trip to the FoS largely because it is too close to our trip to Le Mans next month for the Classic. You can only do so much...

I won't be at our regular monthly meet at The Novello next month because, like others, I'll be at Le Mans. I hope to meet you soon though.

Cheers

James
