Hi All,
I'm new to this forum but not Porsches, at present I have a 1990 964 C2 Cab
Tip with a turbo body conversion. I have had this particular car about a year. It is used 'rain or shine', and apart from some minor problems has proved to be reliable. I'm in the process of sorting out the all the little problems a 15 year old car has. One of my first projects was to repair, and make the cab roof operate correctly. I found the roof system was bacically OK, but does have some areas of engineering that are lacking. One thing that has concerned me is the poor build standard of the electrics/electronics in ths vehicle, and I don't just mean the DME relay 'problem'. Thses failings are more than made up for by the joy of drivng the 964 though. After week of driving my wife's BMW M3 I was glad to get my Porsche back!
