Bought a lovely Polar Silver 997 C2S on Friday gone, 39k full history and thankfully 12 monthly oil changes, chuffed to bits with it, looks like one of my 944 Turbo's is headed south on Saturday [:(]
But needs must.

seems like a major change for you[:)]
I hope the modern Porsche gives you as much fun as the 944 [:D]

Congrats on the newly acquired family member! 944 turbo is a great car but I'm sure you'll enjoy the 997, the modern conveniences make it a great daily driver! :)

Cheers Fellas, 997 is very modern and puts a grin on my face, i still have my 88 944 Turbo S which runs around 310 bhp and when it comes on to boost it is giddy [;)] my 220 944 turbo went down south.
Love my 997 but still love the old un, tons of poke and character and it is pretty bombproof, one of them was built and overseen by accountants the other one was overseen by Engineers.
It will be getting ride height dropped 30 mm courtesy of H & R, and the wheels shimmed out slightly along with a mod to the soundtrack (muffler hack)
Was very nearly into a 996 Turbo/C4S but the 997 is way prettier [:D]
