Newbie - spin-on oil filter conversions?

Hello Y'all,
I'm checking overseas to see what 996 owners may have come up with to change from the cannister type oil filters to use the more readily available, cheaper, and easier-to-use spin on filters.
Any links or suggestions?

The only one I have seen is made by LN Engineering in the US: http://www.lnengineering.com/spinonfilteradapter.html I'm not sure if the filters are available over here though.

Id doesn't stack up financially though. You can buy an awful lot of filters for the price of the kit......

Thank you. Yes, that's the only one I have seen too, but at around $150, I also wonder whether I will have my car that long to make it worth it.
