newbie with 944

Not for long bud lol. Will prob order up some german style plates from dubmiester. I have a personal reg number to go on any way so once thats on i will get the german style plates for now the legal on in the boot will do lol.

Just brought my first LEGAL 944. I do have a couple that are past repair which I am selling parts off and now will be using parts to sort out the car I brought from dann yesterday. Its a fairly tidy example but does need some welding doing. Luckly for the last 10 years I've been playing with beetles and campers so have started to become a bit of a dab hand at welding so hopefully over the winter I can get the car back to a condition that will see it pass another mot or 2 lol.

So if anyone needs some bits to fund the 944 then please let me know lol.

As an alternative to the Dubmeister plates, take a look at Framptons plates too. Maybe I am too picky, but all modern plates use the New Charles Wright font (hence the narrower characters). Framptons can make you up plates just like the ones that came from the factory (i.e full width characters) for not alot of cash. www.pl8s.com is their addy.
