Hello all,

My names David and I live in West London, I'm new to Porsche and absolutely love it [:D]

I've put nearly 1000 miles on it since I picked it up last month!

This seems like a great forum, and I look forward to chatting to you all.

Here are a few pics, let me know your thoughts.

Hi David. Good to hear from you. I to am relatively new to the Porsche family [:)]
Car looks great.
Know what you mean. The mile just seem to be eaten up. Great fun though.[:D]
Enjoy.

Thanks Phil!

I'm guessing you have a Red 987 judging by your Avatar? I love the 987s in red, great looking cars!

Well sort of red. "Zanzibar Red" burnt orange would be more accurate.
Is your new baby the 'S'
They all look great when polished up [:)] and then there is the grin factor to [:D]

Sounds interesting, have you got pictures?

Nope, it's just a 2.7, I don't think I could afford the insurance on the S as I'm 21 still.

Thanks, it took a fair bit of saving!

Wow that colour looks fantastic, I've never seen a Boxster in that colour before. It looks amazing with the Sport Design wheels!

Cheers David.
Not many about, I have been looking and only found one other in this country and a couple in the US?
You enjoy yours. Do you use it daily for work etc. Guess London driving is a pain?????

Congrats on the car looks fab.

Welcome to the Boxster fold hope to see you at some of our events

Wow I'm not surprised I've never seen one before then!

Yes I use it to commute at the moment, it certainly is a fun commute in the Boxster! I live in South West London (near Richmond) and commute to North West London so I don't have to go through central London at the moment which is fortunate, but I'll be working in Canary Wharf as of this summer and will therefore be having to use public transport [:'(]

Thank you Tracy! I'd love to attend some of your events. I assume you guys will be at the Dads Day Out event in Guildford again this year?

Good luck with the commute and the public transport [:(]. Hope it doesn't happen to be in the summer????? just when you can get the roof down and really enjoy the Boxster.
Still it will just make you more hungry to get out when you can. Just hope it doesn't rain at the weekends[8|].
Will catch up sooner or later at an event I am sure[:)].

Yeah I'll probably be starting in the summer [:(]

I'm hoping to take it on a little European road trip this summer, drive down to see my mum in Bordeaux, drive along the French Riviera, up through the Swiss alps, through to Germany, check out the Porsche museum and then hit the Nurburgring before catching the ferry back to Dover.

Hi Tracey,

I've just been contacted by the PC in Cambridge to book the clinic slot; very exicted about it! Thanks again for organising it.

we did the european trip the other way round last october!!started the trip by going via porsche museum for lunch etc great way to start hols then down vis various passes to bellagio and onwards to various mouthwatering routes inc col de torini and the fab route napoleon before wending our way back via grenoble and up.
linda enjoyed it too luckily so we may get to repeat this year trying a few more of the 400 or so Alpine passes[:)]
