Hi Chris

You’ve made two excellent decisions, buying a 987.2 and joining the great club that PCGB is. I have no doubt that you will thoroughly enjoy both.

Best wishes, Roger

I have a 2005 987.1 Boxster S

Hi, my name is Chris and I am soon to become a Porsche 987 Gen 2 Boxster owner, and really looking forward to it. I have a Mercedes E220d which is a great four door saloon car BUT it is not a roadster nor a convertible. A friend recently bought a Morgan which is a beautiful car and it got me thinking that having a second fun car maybe just what I need. So I've bought one. Will post some pics when I get it next weekend. Joined the club already !

welcome to the Club, and this forum.

I joined in 1989 and seen the club improve beyond recognition.

make use of it as much as possible, it is most welcoming.

I too have a 987.2, a simple 2.9 which is fabulous, practical, envigourating and so very universal as a sports car, you will love every mile, pile them on, and soak it all up. [8D]

Hi, I would like to thank you all for the welcoming words. It appears that I am not just buying just a car, I am joining an extended family with superb Porsche cars and their owners who are just as enthusiastic as their cars.

Friday cannot come quick enough, I am off to the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia on Monday morning, just four days photography but my mind may not be only on my camera.

Thanks again and I will post some images next weekend, of the Boxster 987.2 2.9 not Slovakia.
