I'm not that new i've been a member for about 5 years owning a 968. I'm considering my dream of a 996 c2 tip or manual. I've looked in the usual places and prices seem to be all over the place!

I'm only looking to spend upto 20k, i've seen this one on auto trader with 53k on the clock silver with black leather and full history, does anyone know the car.

Thanks for any advice

Chris

thanks for the offer but a bit expensive for me, looks a nice car though. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell. I've never enjoyed selling just the buying bit. I just hope i don't make a mistake, my 968 is very sound and is a great car to drive.

Good luck with the sale.

I bought mine in December from http://www.911virgin.com/stockchrono.htm for a tad more than your budget. To get under £20k I think you will need to go to an R or S plate with over 70/80k miles. Speak to Tom Harris - a rarity, a sales guy who listens (and does not try and push you into any particular car). I was very impressed with their knowledge, attitude and service.
All the best
Des

Cheers Des, i don't mind an R or S reg i'm going to wait until one pops up in my area i don't realy have the time to travel miles and miles. I'm in no rush. I also don't want one that's only been owned for a short while by a non enthusiast, if that makes sence.
