Have defected from 964RS so this will be my new home , although will still visit other sites from time to time [;)]

I bought my C2 purely to do trackdays , it had already been stripped and fettled to do hillclimbs/sprints.
It had a first outing at Oulton Park on the RS Day earlier this month , so now ready for more.
I did take some passengers round , it was relatively tranquil for them , no-one actually was lulled to sleep as the car is a bit too noisy for that ......if you see it out at a track and would like a passenger lap at your own risk then feel free to ask !

Here's a picture taken by well known snapper Paul Madden [:D]

Welcome.

Hope to see you at one of the meets and hear about what you've had done to the car.

David

Hi David , well we met up at the PCGB AGM ( 15 April) of all places !!

Did not speak much about the car given the extraordinary circumstances of the AGM , however a brief update.
Going to replace Helix competition clutch ( ceramic jobbie) with 'normal' 964RS clutch as it requires too much concentration to drive around town (or to circuit) otherwise.

If anyone interested in a competiton clutch - will fit GT3 Mk1 , 993 , 964 then PM me. Its designed for sprint and hillclimb starts , wont wear out doing that , 6 months old , less than 1000 miles. Worth maybe seconds ie difference between winning or losing [:D]

Yes good seeing you John, if it was only briefly.

Looking forward to catching up with you at one of the shows/meets/track days.

Cheers, David

Hi Steve,

I've got it in my diary so it'll depend on the weather.
I've just been looking for info' on what's going on that day. Google showed nothing as did the CC web site.
Just had a look on the Track Days section of the forum and they are still into 2011!!!!!!

I'm going to Curborough on 26th with TIPEC.
There's a meet with Porsches and Marcos' and more than friendly rivalry.

The day we're at CC is a privately organized track day and all the hard work of one man (Richard Armstrong). Like minded folk are always welcome and we're happy to put them in touch with Richard. I'm a recent addition to the list while Melv and John have been supporting his days for some time now. [:)]
