Next Knockhill track night?

To All

Yes it is in PP but they got date wrong ..as Greig says it is on 8th Sept sign on at 5.30 track time is 6-8 and rember this is Ian's last track night of the year

I suppose the last unless tey are organising a replacement for the one that was rained off?

I would hope they rearrange it! or do we get a refund for the guys who pre booked all 5 nights? Mr Kitchens over to you.

To All

I suggest you contact Ian on this as it is his track nights to see if he has arranged another time .I am sure Ian will work out any financial matters with the guys that booked
if it it not going ahead ,Ian has to pay KN evven when they cancell it due to weather.

Brian

Thanks for the info.

Seems a bit off that Ian should take the hit on costs. Unless he can make a profit on the other days, it would seem more reasonable for track night participants to accept the loss.

P.S. Don;t know why my log-on says "non-member" seeing as I am a PCGB member. Not for long I guess anyway having sold my MK1 GT3.

There seems little incentive to prebook all 5 dates if one is cancelled due to poor weather.
I really would like the Griff to confirm that he had to pay in full for the recent Wed cancellation as this seems incredible that K/Hill could charge him for this.and not produce an alternative booking.
Please note this is not in any way a criticism of our beloved track god , merely disbelief at the way we as a regular group are treated when the weather turns foul and K/Hill cancel.

Whats the format for the 8th. This would be my first track day, I assume helmets can be hired? More importantly I assume there is a novice group that i can run in (wouldnt want to show up any GT3 owners [;)])

Cheers

Dream on ..these guys will be all over you like a rash ,some times it is an open pit lane which works well it all depends on the total ammount that turn up,most times you are put into 2 groups ,as to helmets you can hire for £5 ..see you there

Brian RO1

PS some times you can get free tuition or ask one of the bad boys to go round with you in your car ,rember to bring a change of underwear

Would deffo be good to have someone go out with me i think.

Be prepared for the mobile chicane.

Hey Slim Boy
It will be good to see ya on the trak nite
I recall you talking a very good game about your car a few months ago.
Its good of you to post your BHP and torque figures, it will make you a pretty target for anyone with around 180 horses [:D][:D]
Get out as a passenger and check out the lines , with a car of that power it will go very sideways if you get Duffis and Clarke's wrong.
Try any propietary anti diaorrhoea remedy around 5.30pm.

Yours in jest

Mike
