Next Trackday?

OK, So none of the remaining speed series dates work for me. :-( and I've not had a chance to exercise minty this year. Before I go and book a run of the mill bookatrack day, what do people have planned?

Is there any event I tag on to, where at least I get to play with some other RS's?

After a failed effort at the Oulton RS day, the car has only been [shock / horror] polished! [:D]

No more booked Hugh -I've got bored with them.....although
Silverstone was a blast!! Bagged a couple of instructors during the day and they made
It flow... but still not entirely happy with The Loop!

Three of us are booked on an Easytrack day at Oulton - Friday 14th September. Also considering Donington on Monday 21st September (Circuit days)...just waiting on Oldtimer to see if he can make it. I'm also in the process of organizing the annual 964 day at Curborough Sprint..aiming for a weekend day at end of October (waiting on date tbc).

Please count me in (non 964 of course).Should have 2 turbo antiroll bars by then-reliable starting(new sensors fitted -early this am)& rear end dropped further.[&o]

Donnington National next Friday (31st) with Opentrack, and that's it at the moment.

Don't forget to earmark end of June 2013 for the RS Fest at Zolder. Still in the early planning stages but looking like £250 per car and 50 cars needed to make it possible. Noise restriction will be around 100db but if you fail first time you will be allowed a second pass. The track places will be open to all RS models. [:)]

End of June = good. I have it noted in the calendar already. 100db, that will be close of a lot of us wont it?

thanks Steve, I cant make the dates for Oulton / Donny as I'm on hols at that time. I'll keep an eye on Curborough, but want to squeeze some quality time in the car, so thinking that a trackday may suit best.

@Melv, as you know I've had my Spa fix this year, and it was a such a high, I dont feel the need to return for a while. My fav circuit in the world.

Hello all,
I and some other Belgian friends (964Rs Night blue,Black, Polar silver and 968 CS Speedyellow, (now also changed in a 964))met some of you at the RS trackday in Clastres (thanks again Martin)
In a bar yesterday with these same Belgians we had some talks and came onto circuits again.
Do you guys have any plans to come over to Spa, North of France, or Zolder somewhen?
We liked the company at Clastres and it would be nice to meet up again.
Due to work it is difficult for us to get enough days of to come to the UK for a trackday, but when you guys plan a trip to the continent and won't mind our presence, please let us know
(again Martin has the details to contact me), may be we can come along then.
As Belgians, we have never driven Spa, we would like to do this, and some advice and expereince sharing would always be nice...

thanks in advance

Hans

OK, that's a date -March 2013-I can start saving!! [:)]

I'll give you a nudge when the booking opens. [:)]

Melv , looks like there will be an overcapacity of 964 pilots for the accommodation at Steve's favourite 'auberge' at this yet to be confirmed Bookatrack Spa event , and it would be really good if you can secure some lodging at your favourite 'auberge' to help.....which means you need to be at the Spa event to maintain discipline in the AEAventure 'man-cave' [:D].

+1 for staying at Neil & Ann's but a bit early to be thinking about it though. Dates not even confirmed yet!

Er , no , not really , if you know you are going to commit time and money far enough ahead then you are more likely to do it.
The PCF days were always late in confirming date , so nothings different there.

There will probably be a hardcore of half a dozen 964s ( not RSs) flying the GB aircooled flag , it would be ironic if the 964RSs were not represented in similar quantity. I'm hoping to see Ben's trackpanzer in action [8D]
