Wow wow wow, although it would have been good if some of the events where down here. Looks like I will see Mark K, Lali, EMC and a few others at Snetterton in the spring then and a good few more times through the year. Spa will be our wedding anniversary, should be a very special few days.

Nordschleife and Spa Francorchamps are the highlights: will you need an 'International' or is there a dispensation for 'National' holders? Oulton and Cadwell are nice though, although Cadwell is narrow...

The ring looks like pre 81 cars only though, a couple of bike circuits in there so its just as well that the series has a reputation for very clean driving. Have you done this series by any chance? what do you make of it? I remember you talking about racing but I forget which race series you competed in.
Cheers
Neil

P.S. I did spot you on over on TZ-UK [:D], I wasn't sure who it was at first but the Rome of the North bit gave it away. Small world this.

I havent competed in the series no, although Id be tempted if I wasnt now the poorest man in Sheffield.

I knew that you were a member because you told me that youd bought a 968 off Eddie, if you recall?

I sent my application to join the club a couple of weeks ago (not heard anything yet)Spoke to a chap called Hugo and asked him some questions,he said i needed six signatures on my B licensce(if i do get one..!) to race at Spa and that is my aim and absoloute goal to race around Spa...He mentioned that at every meet for the future classics there is a additional race you can enter the same day and get two signatures same day, this is what i am hoping to do if everything goes to plan so i can upgrade my license so i can race at Spa.I am going to be driving my car to every event so i really hope i don't bend it too much otherwise my brother who is my nominated recoverer will not be happy. In fact i am not sure if he even knows yet that he is going to be my recoverer..[:D]

Mark, that means that theyre allowing 'National' drivers to enter (if you were entering directly though, rather than by invitation through the guest club, youd need an 'International' licence).

Has anyone told you yet, that you can get one signature by marshalling at an event? If not, consider yourself so advised! [:D]
