NGT at JZM

I see there is a lovely looking maritime NGT at JZs, 75k, looks tidy and original apart from the wheels. Anyone know it?

Always sniffing round the NGTs......not selling the yellow one though....

Anyone know this car - looks like a recent respray and the wheels are wrong - also the kill switch on the scuttle looks like it has been put in the wrong place to me?

Kevin

yeah, radio - funny choice, I'd spotted the wheels too. What makes you think its been sprayed?. Kill switch is fine for a post prod mod. None of them had it originally, but I guess its a good place to put it.

just looks like it has a lot of paint on it to my eyes, especially the bonnet - and no chips...I could be wrong......

The bonnet looks to have that clear protection film on it, I don;t think its thick paint.

If someone gets to see the car before me, can they PM me the chassis number please? I did email JZM but got no reply. Big surprise. []

Martin,
I'm going to JZM to have a look around as they have a number of interesting things there at the moment. Will pass on the #'s.

Cheers.

I've been to look at it and it's OK. It has had paint and there is also plastic on the bonnet too but no signs of heavy accident damage that my quick look revealed. The ride height looks a little odd and it's had some heavy use, worn out seat, very shiny steering wheel etc. I didn't bother getting down on my hands and knees to look underneath.

Interestingly, it had the remains of a timing device inside so I assume it's seen competitive use at some stage. I'm back there tomorrow so will take a note of the chassis number then (I did have a look for it whilst I was there yesterday but can not, for certain, remember it).

I'd say it's fairly priced. A mint one would be closer to the magic £100K and a dog £60K, so it is, in my opinion, an average car for an average price.

Is this the car that appeared in the Sunday Times classifieds as a private sale about 3-4 years ago?

ORIGINAL: Steve Brookes

Another one has just gone up for sale Kev.....just your colour too [;)]

Steve,
That's been for sale with MCP for at least the past five years ! Funnily enough the price seems to keep going up ...........

looks like it may have had a hard life, very shiny but centerlocks, button-downs on bonnet + engine cover, stack rev counter etc....

Anyone know any more?

Ring MCP, Martin was on here earlier talking about this very car I think.

PS, all the best ones have seen some action.
