Recently received the note below from Morgan Moss International which might be useful to a few of you out there.
Having decided (back in late '02) to make such a big purchase over the net, I spent god knows how many hours checking out the myriad companies who can facilitate such deals. MMI came out head and shoulders above the rest in terms of clarity, friendliness and a genuine understanding of how to reassure people making a large arms-length purchase. Whilst I obviously can't make any guarantees going forward, I'd recommend them for consideration if this type of deal suits.
(My only great reget was not hedging the Sterling / Euro rate when I had the chance - my £3,000 saving was reduced by around £1,000 as the Euro suddenly took off in the months before I had to make final payment!).

M5's are out in July and are on a 18mnth-2 year waiting list already. We have August 2005 build slots (they are RHD/100% UK spec). Our price is £500 over UK list. July build cars are currently selling at upto £5,000 over UK list!
Porsche prices and deliveries are below. Again, prices are amazing (thanks to weaker Euro and massive incentive discount from dealer to get back into RHD), and delivery times are great too. Porsche Merlin have even confirmed they value imports (providing they are C16 which all of ours are), the same as UK supplied at sale time!
