Thanks for your organisation, your trial runs, pothole warnings and clear messaging to ensure Peter kept up!!!! I enjoyed the morning entertainment and the company immensely.

I think thumbs up for the Trout/Haddock/Salmon Inn.

Nice photos, as always, Alex. Can you make sure you bring the same weather with you next weekend please![;)]

Alex et al, looks like you had a super day out [8D]

I'm pleased to see you had parking at the Trout and that Peter made it to the finish- It was a nice day to be out in a Cabriolet [:D]
Pictures look great Alex, still in manual mode [;)]

I was on the way down the M5 today and thought of you guys, also hoped you hadn't stolen all the good weather [&:]
I'm looking forward to next weekend.

Great day weather wise, perfect roads as ever (except for the occasional monster pot hole) and excellent company

Food at Trout was better than prelim and bonus to sit outside by the river

Notched up only one stone chip - on the windscreen going up Aston Hill = result[]

Thankyou for organising

Alex

Many thanks for putting together a great day. Roads, food and company were first class and organising the weather as well was a masterstroke. I went home via Aston Hill ( down) and as Jon says it is a different matter all together in that direction.

Nick

Alex et al,

Had a great day yesterday, thanks for organising a great drive with great company as usual Alex and the weather certainly helped top it off. Jon, I wish I hadn't followed you now in the afternoon as my car feels even more quieter than it should be [:)]

BTW: Had a great bonus to end the day yesterday as I sold my house for the full price to First time buyers in 24 hours! Who said the market was bad?

Cheers,
Simon

Alex,

I'd just like to add my thanks to you for a great drive and look forward to next weekend. Strangely my car now makes an odd noise on start up from behind the dashboard like a demented bee buzzing. Any ideas what it might be?

Yeh I need to get my SLR out of auto mode. I have purchased the Idiots Guide to the 7D, so hopefully that will help my pictures improve.

Before next weekend I really need to sort out my tyres. The Pirellis still feel all wobbly going around corners. I am going to rule out excessive tyre pressures first by RE-filling with N2 this week. Then if that doesnt work I will check my geo, then if that looks all okay a few track days will be in order to age the Pirellis enough to then put some Michelins back on! I really miss the glued-to-the-road feeling I had at the end of last summer.

Glad I'm not to blame for the first one [;)]
But when going up places like Aston Hill you have to look at them as trophies [:)]
I hope the new cars performing as expected Jon?

Great news about the house Simon, supports anecdotal evidence we have had that there is definite interest in the market.

For your next place get somewhere with a decent lawn then you have a perfect excuse to buy more toys!

Cheers

Nick

Nick,

Is that the model with paddle shift and LMSM (lawnmower stability management)?

Regards,

Clive

Hi Nick, Impressive! now that's a toy! Does it have a sports exhaust ?? [:)]

When I offered to borrow one of your "red" cars this wasn't what I was thinking though [:)]

Cheers,
Simon

Alex,

Belated thanks from me and my son in law Neil for the brilliant day out yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - I know Neil is trying to figure out how he can aspire to 911 ownership- all in good time says I. Meanwhile thanks for the good company, great route, stunning scenery and a better than anticipated lunch spot- amazing fish and chips- mine repeated all afternoon! Your organisational efforts Alex, are much appreciated including your pothole warnings which most of us managed to miss luckily.

Glad to learn of your house result Simon- hope you don't have too much of a drawn out wait to get moved.

Hope you SW trippers enjoy next weekend-sorry to be missing the adventure but it clashes with my choir concert of Brahms Requiem.

Finally, hope all goes well with the new arrival next month Alex.

Regards. Mike.

Now you've sold the residence, you know it makes sense to head down to the OPC and offer them a deal for a retrofitted Sports Exhaust

Just tell the better half it was unseen expenses moving house!
