nipples....or not?

Another one guys.....at the front underside I've noticed some conical shaped rubber nipples...one of which is now hanging off precariously......having once (and only once...and I'm glad it wasn't 1800 in the rain on the side of the m25) taken out the space saver and the jack etc (isn't the compressor a joke!)...I've found some holes in the front floor pan where the nipples go....one is missing where the rain can now come in!

Question is where can I get some more?

At the risk of being dull ,they re drain tubes ,and keep deep water out ! Same as old head lamp drain tubes from head lamp bowls ........can order from any Porsche place agent or or independent

vic.....you hit the nail on the head.....its such a dull point that unless I sexed it up it was never going to get hit [;)].....and many thanks for the info...do you have them on the 993?

A tip i've found to work on the 964 RS.

The said nipples are so large that it's best to cut them down a bit, because the RS is so low. This helps avoid them being pushed back in the front boot or being torn off.

Sure do ,and Kinky Pauls right again best to cut 'em off or they get pushed out..............when they re missing its horrific how much water gets in if u go thru big puddle etc .....................and its not just the webbed feet that make me so slow !

......walks like a duck, talks like a duck...but its a nippleless RS! theres a joke in there somewhere Vic![8D]

I shall get some new ones PDQ and modify accordingly...cheers Paul!

If you know fine......I will look, not being lazy...how many holes am I looking for?[:-]

Jimbers, while scraping yesterdays Silverstone crud off the GT2 [993] I VE FOUND A FOURTH NIPPLE ,felt i ought to inform u immediately in case u ve got a gaping hole somewhereu cant see........

Didn't Scaramanga (The man with the golden gun) have an extra nipple??? - meant to be a sign of a higher than average libido.

A bit like baldness....

All this nipple talk has now answered why they advertise BRA`s in the Porsche Post, I could never figure out why they were needed, I used to be able to remove them with a flick of the wrist when I was a teenager [ a few years ago !!]
