that got you all looking!!! is there any nipples on the s2 that need greese putting in to them and if so where are these nipples and what type of grease needs putting in. also while the car isnt been used (winter) should i do anything to the car i am planning on changing the gearbox oil but is there anything else??

To answer the question specifically, no I don't believe there are any grease points you need to worry about.

To be honest, I don't hear of many 944 owners that lay their car up over winter. I know a few who do low mileage (under 5k), but they still take the car out every few weeks over winter if the weather is nice [&:]

I'm ashamed to say that I can see how it could happen though [:-]:-

The car is all nice and clean, polished, warm and snug in his garage. The roads are wet and nasty, and all covered in salt, so you can't realy enjoy your 944 any way. Why bother with having to wash the car again if you aren't going to enjoy getting it dirty? ....Particularly when the Freelander looks better dirty and doesn't go any worse (or better) if it's wet, dry or snowy.......perhaps I could manage a limited mileage insurance policy after all [8|]
