NISSAN Plant Tour - Postponed

Friends,

My apologies but I have received the following email from Nissan.

Hi Matthew,
I am sorry to say that since my last email we have been advised by our Managers that we cannot support plant tours during August and September due to new model trials on the production lines. If you are still interested, please give me two or three dates in late November early December and I will try and accommodate your request.

I suggest we discuss this at the next meeting and we will try again.

I have been trying to organize a Nissan Plant Tour - no easy task.

The consensus at the recent Club meeting was to attempt to organize the tour on 27th August.

This is during the school summer holidays and allows those who wish to bring children the opportunity to do so. (Children must over the age of 10.)

Tours are only available certain days of the working week and for most this would mean taking time off work. It was felt to minimize the impact we would choose the afternoon tour starting at 13:00.

We would select the long tour (2~3 hours) visiting the Body-shop, press-shop, and, final assembly and test.
The cost is £10 per head with a minimum charge of £100 for the group. (Therefore, ideally, we would have a minimum of 10 people.)
Please indicate your interest below and once I have sufficient numbers I will firm up the date with Nissan.

I may ask for a deposit but will post a new thread if necessary.

Put me and Gillian down for this Matthew, luckily we have a few days off that week.
