We have two OPC in the region and yet no 997 launch post!!
Maybe I have missed it, maybe it was in PP, maybe there isn't one.
Anybody know?
I have an invite from outside of the region, but it just seems strange that there's none in this region

If it helps, in the West Midlands region report in this months PP it says "997 launch, see p74 for details", which basicly says to phone you local centre for details as most have given out a special invitation for club members to have an early viewing of the 997 on 18th and 19th of September.

It does help, but didn't it say that in nearly every regions writeup?
I was refering very much to the Forum... but maybe its snail mail only.

It probably did, I didn't actually read any of the other ones yet!
It is more likely that some dealers have been a bit more proactive than others when it comes to organising the 997 launch, and ours haven't let the club know what is going on in time for the magazine to go out. Or maybe they haven't organized as much as some of the other dealers who are asking for cars to display for the launch.

Did something go wrong with the W. Midlands launch? Personally I didn't get an invite. (and what's going wrong in this Forum? No messages?)

West Mids is very quiet.. Yes the launches happened, luckily I got an invite to Solihull, nice food and drink but way too busy. But it got the excitement and a return visit booked. The sutton coldfield event I didn't get an invite (even though its where my previous car was purchased and serviced!!) apparently due to lack of parking.. The PCGB did supply cars, and they looked great.
I think once again if you were in the click you would know, type of west mids thing[:'(]
