No Bong or any other audio warning noise

Hello Cayenne forum,

Just popped over from the 996 forum to ask a question I hope someone can answer regarding my daughters 2004 cayenne S.

It would appear that her audible warning noises from the dash have given up. There are no lights left on warning, low fuel, outside temp warning noise or even the clicking for the indicators. All of these sytems continue to work but with no noise to accompany them.

She has had it looked at by a garage that claims to be able to work on Porsches and be quoted circa £1300 to fix. Needless to say my phone rang within a few seconds of that quote to see what I thought! Anyone suffered this problem or knows what this issue is likely to be.

Cheers

RB

The answer may well be here but I'm not paying £3 to find out![;)]
