No need to clean the car now

Due to someone spraying brake cleaner / paint remover over the rear panels, passenger door and nearside wing, I will only need to wash the paint on one side of the car now. Thank you you worthless scum.

Pointless vandalism and there is nowt to be done. []

Sorry to hear that. I don't think what I would like to say would get past moderation. The F*&^%$£" B*(&$%) should be hung drawn and quartered!!![]

That is just awful, I so feel for you. So pointless..... Their attitude is the reason why they cannot afford nice things in life. Instead of getting jealous these scums should get a decent job!!! Make sure you take it to a good bodyshop otherwise you will get another heartache trying to sort out the paint....

I sympathise, not as bad as yours by a long way but read my post on the 996 forum about the milkshake through the sunroof. I fear there will be more jealousy attacks with the "credit crunch" taking hold.

Thanks guys. I am taking it to an OPC on Monday as they have a paint guy there who will give me a price. I have not been in this position before but suspect it has to be Porsche approved people, I hope they will give me some names to go to.

I did see your "milkshake" thread Vron, and think that it is equally as bad, just a different methodology.

echo everyones thoughts here.i had 3 lovely deep gouge marks on the bonnet of my M3 while in my drive.....£600 later...only consolation was at the bodyshop some poor b**ger in a 500 merc had EVERy single panel scratched...mindless cretinos

As a Justice of the Peace, I can understand a hungry boy stealing an apple. However, the person who mindlessly vandalises anything gets no sympathy from me. One can be given a £5000 fine or even up to10 years in jail. Hope you find the culprit.

Being a lady and all........I can't possibly write what I think as there are too many expletives involved. Sorry to hear about your car though Marc. It makes my blood boil, we all work hard for the finer things in life and end up paying a higher price because of these morons.[&:]

Thats awful. I had my roof jumped on last year. Icing on the cake was the awful job the approved bodyshop made of the repair. Beware. Nothing like absence making the heart grow fonder however and its always nice to get the car back! Particularly when the courtesy car was a Mitsibishi sewing machine

You work hard in order to afford a nice car & them mindless jealous as*hole comes along & does that, was it on your drive or in a car park? If a car park any chance of finding CCTV footage?

Sorry to hear about the damage, its the one thing that makes me "frisky" every time I leave the car, sometimes wonder if we would all have more peace of mind with a Smart to drive around in plus a copy of Gran Turismo with its fleet of "virtual" fast cars!!

Most importantly I hope your beast is well again soon.

I dont know where the damage happened. For all I know it could have been in the street outside the house or at the valet place - I had just spent some money on a decent waxing to get the car looking good - should have checked you tube for video clips of people sitting on the roof!

Fortunately there are more plus sides to ownership....
