'No SIM card' message

Hi all

I have an 01 C4 with PCM and now keep getting the message 'No Sim Card' on the screen , despite it being in there. I think that maybe the chip is not in contact properly, but have no idea how to solve this, as the card seems securely held in.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?

Many thanks

Hi all
Despite getting no replies(!), I managed to find a solution, which may help someone who gets the same problem. I put 2-3 layers of duck tape neatly on the back of the card and it works a treat. It was clearly an issue of the chip not being in contact with the connector. However, make sure that the edges of the tape are stuck down properly so they don't catch on the inside and come off.
