Boxster S 987 2nd Gen

No radio sound and no sat nav sound Think Aux is working. Worked for 10 years or so and then just stopped. I had not changed anything.
Checked fuses by drivers side but did not find any blown?

Fuese d9 and d10 from memory - worth a spercific check of those, but typically they blow for a reason if it was that and you probably would have spotted one or both when you checked.

I *think* BOSE amp on the 998.2 is under the drivers (UK) seat, rather than in the front. As such immediate thoughts always goto "drains" - so suggest check for water under the seat - check right down at floor level, under the foam next to the units - that can be soaked while the surface is wet.

Apologies if teaching you to suck eggs - but if you can get any sound out then the AMP is likely OK, that would focus the attention on the PCM,

If no sound then it could of course be either unit - no guarantee that a code will be thrown internally if there is a problem with with either unit ( codes get thrown when things dont respond as expected - they don't always detect a fault condition) - but I would suggest getting it scanned on a diags setup with Porsche smarts, PIWIS ideally, but Foxwell or Icarsoft might show something - whereabouts are you - someone close by might have the necessary kit to see if anything is thrown. PIWIS might be able to trigger some tests to check function - I have scanned one in a 987.2 to know for sure.....

After that PCM's are npow of an age where failures are occuring - power supply seems to be a common issuse - have a look at cartronics - they also trade as pcmrepairs - not cheap, but I know of several folks who have used them with good results. https://www.pcmrepairs.co.uk/porsche-pcm-repair-booking-form

Good luck
