Noise levels for track day

Hi All,
Went to Brands Hatch for a track day back in March and my car's noise level was 103db with the Sport button on.
Looking at going to Castle Combe but they have a max level of 100db.
Does anyone know what the noise level is without the Sport button on or of any other circuits I can go to?

Thanks

When you say Sport button on, I assume it is at it's noisiest and that it was Static Test not drive by?

If you keep the exhaust on normal (quieter), turn aircon off and ensure the engine is fully warm, I would guess a sports exhaust would be not more than 100db, based on my old 997.2 GTS.

Noise tests are very variable depending on weather, noise tester, nearby buildings, plague of frogs etc etc.

Porsche Club days run 105db at Castle Combe and most other tracks so maybe best to book on next Castle Combe club day, get on track and have chance to discuss noise with Club staff.

Yes the loud button or sports exhaust was switched on.
They have said to pop down and get it checked but that is 150mile round trip.
If I turn everything off and it passes, will I get pulled off track if I put it all back on again?

Thanks RCS,
Yes Reading based
My brother-in law has a Lotus Elise S1 and my mate has a BMW 135M and we go together on these days. So the PCGB track days don't suit.

I am sure a 997 moderator will fix that for you as they monitor posts. Otherwise contact "tscaptain" via Private Mail.

The Club's track day schedule is at
http://www.porscheclubmotorsport.co.uk/sites/default/files/porsche_club_track_days_2015_29.07.2015.pdf

and Castle Combe next which is 105db on Sept 10 so you will be sure to get on. If you want to run a car noisier than you had tested then obviously you may be too noisy. Frankly I am too busy concentrating on driving to worry about making more noise.
