Noise test on my new exhaust

Hi. Thought you might be interested that I had my 2001 C4 3.4 noise tested today at Goodwood. I want to take it on the track and having had new Dansk boxes fitted last week and carried out a bit of a mod on my induction I was interested in my output so to speak. Well considering the aforementioned I was relatively surprised to come in at 98db at ¾ of the red line mark which was 5250 RPM. The marshal indicated that he would also have given me a little off on account of the engine being in the back adding to what is basically an exhaust measure. This is good news for me as it allows me to take advantage of their 98db days as well as their 105db days. This might be of interest to anyone else considering non-switchable sports exhausts who fancies some track time.
I am mighty impressed with the exhausts by the way.

So am I.Goodwood is infamous for their strict measuring. For instance, my turbo with standard exhausts is always marked up as 105db even though these cars are pretty quiet. You must have drawn an enlightened noise marshal.Congrats!
