Have a gen 2 turbo cab with pdk.

Getting a whooshing sound going through the gears taken car back to Opc they say it is exhaust noise as anyone else with the same model had this noise

Isn't that just the sound of the turbos?
 
Difficult to tell but you do hear the turbos as they spin up....some say any sound coming out the back of a turbo is good news as they are too quiet so I woudlnt complain.
 
I used to be able to hear the induction much more so when I had my Cabriolet (996)

Friends commented you could hear it sucking in trees and little children when I passed them [:D]
 
thank you all car booked in for tuesday of next week had gear shift problem last friday a continued whooshing noise followed by 75% loss of power will keep you all updated

Did you get chance to see what was (or wasn't) happening to the boost pressure while this was going on Chris?

No didn't think to look at the boost pressure-rear spoiler failed again tonight this will be the second time[ another job for opc tuesday
