Noisy Fan

I have a 2005, 995 C2 Tip, 76k miles. Recently the front drivers side fan is very noisy, stopping then blowing hard for a few minutes stopping then repeating the process. The passenger side seems to be either very quiet or not to working at all!

I cleaned out all rubbish accrued in front of both radiators, but still not cured the noise!

Anybody else had the same thing happen, any ideas what may be causing it?

Hi Reevers,

I had a simliar issue and it turned out that the fan in the opposite wing had jammed. Once my OPC had fixed the issue, all was OK, then they loaded in some form of software update and now the fans come on more regularily which just seems pointless and noisy, but hey.....
