Non M030 Brake Disks

That’s a lot of money for a few holes, that won’t improve your braking much

but yes they will fit
 
Can't find any quality others more reasonably priced that are drilled..

I need a quality Disk as I warped the ones I have with just a few laps of the PEC..

What do you run on your 968..?
 
Well as I don’t track the car at all, and I always drive at the speed limits most of the time anyway

the biggest reason for brake fade is the poor material in the pads, I have standard disks, made by Zimmerman and EBC reds, the only problem with that is you need to get the brakes hot before the reds start working

drilling the disks allows more air to flow but reduces the braking surface

Stoptech in the USA do some real funky disks for the 944 turbo S2 and 968
 
Those are very expensive! (might be worth searching the vendors feedback reviews too)

We can get Sebro cross drilled discs, if you want to go down the drilled route but as Waylander says, I dont think you will really notice the benefit much, although they look sportier!
 
I guess the Drilled & Vented Disks are a bit overkill for the kind of driving I do most regularly in my 968.. [8D]

Scored a bargain on ECP with a 50% discount voucher on a set of PAGID for the Fronts [Rears were OOS]..

 
Drilled discs do look much "sportier” but are generally avoided for track use as they can crack between the holes - plenty of accounts of the Zimmermans being the worst for this.


Re: the ECP deal, I got a set of Pagid rears for £17.50 that we’re delivered the next day too - told a few other friends who promptly ordered some to put away, probably why they’re out of stock now!
 
Looks like my Luck was in this morning, as the Pagid rears were restocked, and a Discount Code available..!
