A strange problem befell me yesterday - had a great drive out to the Yorkshire dales in my 04 986 Box S, and when the sun came out, I stopped to put the roof down, unlocked the main catch, pressed the button and nothing happened. After several repeat operations, I got the same non-response. I carried on with roof up and stopped at a nice pub for lunch. When I came out, (after orange juice of course ! ), the sun was still out, I pressed the button and hey presto , the roof came down as normal.
My question for you guys is - is this common ? - is there a simple cure ? - should I be worried ? - or is it just that this particular village in Yorkshire is haunted ?
