Non-return valves Windscreen washer + heater.

My windscreen wash has started taking a lot of pumping to get a good squirt. I assume it is the non return valves.
Questions: a) How do I access them - head light, boot compartment, wheel arch?
b) Where can I get replacements (please don't say OPC - That will be £500 than you very much!)
and, c) I notice a couple of wires running into the jets - they look a bit corroded on mine. Are they heating elements?

Thanks JM

Rejection. Nobody likes my question.
Off to Renlist then, I guess

Would love to have answered you, JoeM, but my washers are instant and almost blast a hole in the screen. Sorry for being unhelpful

I've viewed your message a few times wondering what the answer is. I've read about the heaters, waiting for some Scottish frost (expected any day) to see if it's true.

Let us know what the americans say.

Yes, let us know. I have opposite problem - drivers side washer nozzle constantly dribbles fluid over my waxed bonnet everytime I drive it. I have never been able to cure it.

Some good info here http://www.type-911.co.uk/images/general/text/911%20Washer%20Pump.htm.
Don't know if it will cure the incontinence though - a new non return valve, might be worth a try?
