Anyone got any ideas why the passenger seat heating might not be working? Has anyone else experienced the same? I've a 2004 54 Cayenne S 2005 MY where the seat heating works for the driver but not the passenger. I can tell you my wife's not that happy.....

any thoughts or do I need to go to an OPC and see what they say

thanks

Jon

I know it's stating the obvious but have you checked the fuse?
Seem to remember they are separate for each seat (don't have that option on my current S so can't check).

[&:]Having had a quick scan through the owners manual, there are about 4 fuses associated with the seat heating, however none of them refer to the front left seat (probably another error in said manual). Each fuse protects more than one circuit though, so if it were a fuse blown you would expect to find other seat functions not working.
Having had a similar problem with my previous Jeep, that required a new heater.

And the key question was that expensive for the Jeep? Not had chance to look at the fuses yet, but if its a new heater, how expensive will that be?

thanks for the comments so far guys

Hi,

I have the same problem on my Cayenne; but the seat not working is the driver's seat :-(

I checked with Porsche and they told me that they would replace the seat... so not very happy as that's quite expensive. I told them I would think about it.

Let me know if you can find the reason why the heater is not working.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Jose

Hi Jon,
That's a good question. Unfortunately I'm not sure of the cost as Jeep replaced it without a quibble under the warranty.

Not much help I'm affraid.
