Sorry Lynn and I could not make today but have a look at the link below and you will see why. We had just started out 15 minutes from home when my water level warning light started to flash.

Radiator has gone right at the very top you can just make this out in the photos.
Didn't realise that the front end was more akin to a debris collecting bucket the amount of rubbish that has come out is unbelievable !

Does anyone know where I can source a reasonably priced unit from?

Regards

Steve and lynn

Steve I have just replaced my two air conditioning condensors, I use Type911. Ordered online and delivered in two days. Just checked the cost for a 986, £116 OEM and £88 aftermarket. What's the other side like? Good luck

Where do you think Mr Dyson got his idea from? [;)]You can get grills from Zunsport, or use Halfrauds mesh as a cheaper alternative. Something I keep promising I will do as have seen horrific pictures of what can be found in there. While in there make sure the condensers are fine as well

Hi RCS I fitted the zunsport grills 12 months ago in hindsight I should have done a thorough clean before fitting. I may as an extra precaution while the front PU is off the car fit some finer mesh behind the grills as well. The drivers side rad looks fine as do the condensers. You would have thought the design team at Porsche would have seen the short comings and put some sort of mesh in the air intakes at the factory! [8|] Regards
