All members welcomed to join us within our PCGB (996 Register) organised display within the Northampton Balloon Festival on Sat 20th or Sun 21st August, arrival welcomed pre-booked please between 8-10am each day, free entry car and passengers, over 75 hot air balloons operating, trade and social stands, music bands and much more, arranged at short notice over 50% completed already, please either phone on 07773 299654 or email 996@porscheclubgb.com for your place or further information.
Well signposted by AA signage, follow TRADE VEHICLES direction, Denise or myself will greet member sand distribute passe4s directly on site.

Hope you can join us as a warm up for Brands hatch festival celebrations.

Good try, but I doubt it will successfully divert people's enthusiasm away from the'Price crash' thread which I've been following...and now wish I hadn't.

The truth hurts I know, but my list of Porsche pros and cons remains still heavily weighted towards the pros.

BTW, as a 996er, I'm still not convinced with the 'back to the future' 997.
Also, up here in ABZ, (and I work away from Home much of the time) It's unlikely I'll manage to attend any events at all. (all say aah).

Up, up and away........
A brief note of thanks and gratitude to all 996 Register members who partiicpated in this wonderful and successful event, enjoyed by all in glorious sunshine.
Please see October edition of Porsche Post with full report on the event, including the Cayenne that was taken away by the stray hot air balloon, another story with photographic proof of this amazing occurence!!

See you all at Brands hatch with gleaming 996 cars on the Evolution, Chronological and 996 Register display, please note as of other duites for Denise and myself 996 Register members Bridget Murphy and Louis Davies are kindly assisting the smooth running of the 996 Register display. Please support Bridget and Louis.

Car access passes for pre-booked and accepted cars are now distributed from Angie at club office and should be with you, please advise on Thursday if ther are any problems, directly to myself on email 996@porscheclubgb.com
I hope many of you will participate in the world record attempt on Monday morning, please arrive for 8am at the main gate for further instruction and direction.
