This is advanced notification that in August 2022 we will be running a Notawoty*!

Heather & Hills, Passes & Thrills

We had great feedback from Octobers WOTY & MOTY which went to Friars Carse Hotel in the Scottish Borders. People enjoyed the "gorgeous oldy hotel with fab grounds” "great staff, nice food and location”.

There was considerable enthusiasm to have a return visit, especially to enjoy the "superb area” , "the great roads and great scenery” and "the longest stretches of superb driving roads I’ve ever enjoyed”.

It was also felt that the truly brilliant driving roads in the area deserved a longer stay so we will return in August for a three day mid week trip. August should bring better weather, the heather will be out making the hills look even prettier, and even in the summer holidays the roads are still astonishingly traffic free.

The details are being finalised but we expect to announce that the event is open for bookings very shortly. The details of dates and how to book will be announce on this forum.
As always it will be first come, first served.

(* so called because it is not the R7 WOTY, it is an additional event to once more enjoy the marvellous area of Dumfries and The Borders)
