Posted for no other reason than sentimentality - since it's yours truly driving my old GT2 (snapped by Jo Wiln in the Swiss Alps) and I have a significant birthday coming up later this week. So it'll be all down hill from now on! :ROFLMAO:

Clive

When did you sell it CLive and to whom? I know someone who bought a white GT2 from JZM around 2 years ago with approx 17k miles on it. Could it have been yours?

I sold it in April 2009 in a PX deal within the trade for a new Ferrari 430 Scuderia , but I believe it ended up somewhere around Manchester area. The VIN ended in 91274. It would be nice to hear where it is now.
Regards,

Clive

wow clive you didnt keep it long. Was it a disappointment or just the way you roll? :)

Long story. no not at all, in fact it was one of the best 911's I have owned - even the missus liked and it was Club sport spec with a roll cage too!
911 or 430 Scuderia, which one would you chose? Life is short. :ROFLMAO:
Regards,

Clive

Lets hope this downhill you speak of has the same views and entertainment that going up and down the pass in the photo gave us all.
It was a stunning car, on a great trip

As you say- great memories.

many more to come- have a wonderful Birthday

For those that are curious, here is the January page of our 2016 Register Calendar.........

.........a stunning guards red turbo alongside a church in France and beneath some poor chap lodged by his parachute up in the bell tower. You'd think after 70 odd years, someone would have tried to get the poor chap down by now!

BTW I've not heard of any plans for a 2017 calendar as yet.

Thanks for your kind wishes guys. 1 day to go before reaching the age of maturity, sobriety and reason - better get a move on then! [:-][:D]
Regards,
Clive

The car was 1 week old in that photo! A baptism of fire on the return to Calais, as I recall! And the day you reach maturity, sobriety and reason, Clive, is a way off yet, I suspect[:)]
