Posted for no other reason than sentimentality - since it's yours truly driving my old GT2 (snapped by Jo Wiln in the Swiss Alps) and I have a significant birthday coming up later this week. So it'll be all down hill from now on! ​

My thanks to Ralph Forster for sending me this photo, which he took at a PC Open Day.

It shows the same car in my first post undergoing its PDI at Exeter Porsche Centre, circa August 2008. Thanks Ralph, brings back great memories..........happy days! []Regards, Clive

When did you sell it CLive and to whom? I know someone who bought a white GT2 from JZM around 2 years ago with approx 17k miles on it. Could it have been yours?

I sold it in April 2009 in a PX deal within the trade for a new Ferrari 430 Scuderia , but I believe it ended up somewhere around Manchester area. The VIN ended in 91274. It would be nice to hear where it is now.

Long story. no not at all, in fact it was one of the best 911's I have owned - even the missus liked and it was Club sport spec with a roll cage too!
911 or 430 Scuderia, which one would you chose? Life is short.

.........a stunning guards red turbo alongside a church in France and beneath some poor chap lodged by his parachute up in the bell tower. You'd think after 70 odd years, someone would have tried to get the poor chap down by now!

BTW I've not heard of any plans for a 2017 calendar as yet.
