[FONT=segoe ui, sans-serif"] Karen Scorer has kindly volunteered to keep us all busy with a quiz. Thanks Karen. Not much news on the events front to report other than future club nights and the Post Christmas Lunch and also 2017 WOTY to France (see below) Limited spaces on both,so suggest you book now. 2017 Regional Events
Sunday 22nd January 2017 - Post Christmas Lunch
As reported in last month’s Porsche Post we will be at the Bedford Barnes Hotel for our Post Christmas Lunch. We have reserved the Tithe Barn dining room. This is a pay in advance Lunch. The Hotel management has requested advance numbers.
Details in brief. Our Post Christmas Lunch will be held at the Bedford Barnes Hotel Hotel. Date Sunday 22nd January 2017. Your choice three course meal rounded off with coffee. Tickets are priced at £20.00pp (this is subserdised by your Regional raffle) See http://barnshotelbedford.co.uk/
We will also be holding a raffle and are asking all attendees to please bring along a raffle prize. Previous experience has shown that wrapping the raffle prizes has proved popular since everyone then has a chance a winning the top prize. We will also be joined by a guest of honour from Porsche who no doubt will be updating us on all things new from Porsche and existing offers from our local dealership. Advance booking only, sorry no turn up on the day. To secure your seat at the Table we require advance payment. Payment can be made by cheque on Club night or contact me by e mail. We expect with limited spaces tickets to go quickly. As ever its first come first served. You can pay for your tickets at either Club night or e mail me for Menu and details.
2017 Regional 24 WOTY - Honfleur France - August
Last month I reported both at club night and in PP our Regional WOTY (Weekend of the Year) has been arranged for 2017. I also added that I thought space would go quickly and they have done just that. Well over half the places are taken.
Our destination is France, Honfleur. Our base Hotel is the Mecure in the centre of the Town. Dates are 18th 21th August 17. Cost including Ferry Crossing and Hotel B&B for three night’s £299 pp. At this point in time we are only taking bookings from Region 24 members. I have started a reserve list for other than R24 members so if you would like to join us please let me know by e mail. If you wish to upgrade your room, or extend your stay please mention this when booking with our bonded tour operator, Scenic Car Tours. Please e mail me at r24@porscheclubgb.com for flyers and T&C’s. N.B. With Only 20 spaces we are already have bookings into double figures. A £100 deposit will secure your space.
