November Meeting - Charity Auction

Hi all

Just a reminder that at our monthly meeting on 4th November we will be holding an auction for this year's chosen charity, Andrea's Gift, which supports children with brain tumours. If you have any items (preferably, but not necessarily, Porsche or car-related) that are surplus to your requirements and which you are happy to donate please bring them along. We are hoping to get Strasse and our local Porsche Centres involved in the donations too.

The format will be a 'silent' auction for one hour in which bidders make written bids. At the close of the auction the winning bidder pays his or her agreed bid and collects the item.

The last time we held this event was great fun and we raised over £300 for charity. Do come along even if you haven't got anything to donate. You might be able to grab a bargain!

I'll be there without my new hip joint, but with some things for the auction which could raise a few pounds (or pence)!

Paul.

Many thanks to all who donated items for the auction and to all the bidders. We made £347 for our chosen charity Andrea's Gift. Well done everybody!
