November Monthly Meeting

When is it - this coming Sunday (9th) or next (16th)? If its the 9th, I might actually make it myself this time - instead of being a Region tart and going elsewhere!

Far as I know it is the chap from Exxon Mobil speaking at our meeting on the 9th. He had to postpone from the prior month. Sue should have more details and be able to confirm.

See you all on Sunday then....[:)]

See you there, then. Do I have to promise not to mention the Exxon Valdez?

Would like to have a much closer look at your superb 964, Mike, if that's OK with you.

A work colleage is considering a Porsche rebuild/restore instead of another Beetle. I've already whetted his appetite with some Porsche Posts. Would likely be an earlier 911. In fact, if anyone's actually done this, it would be a good subject for a talk.

There's an interesting comparison between 964 and 997 in the latest 911 & Porsche World - haven't read it yet though.

The guy in question has now sat in my Boxster and was very impressed, but I can't help thinking he'd be better off in an air-cooled 911, given his Beetle roots. He seemed rather disappointed when I told him I couldn't show him my engine!
