Basically,
book the session for £29, 01270 666500.
Be there at 8:15 for the briefing.
Driving licences will be needed.
Helmets will be required but can be hired on the day.

This is in conjunction with the 968 boys, and is a strictly novice session. Sounds great, and hopefully will be repeated.

I went to the Oulton Park novice session last year & would recommend it to anyone with even the slightest desire to try out a track drive.

I'm on it and looking forward to it. It'll be my first go on a track so seems like an ideal way to start. I'll let you know how it goes.

A superb day today. Started off with the novice session which is a great way to learn a track but wasn't particularly fast. I then decided to stay on for a half track day session. The best thing by far was the FOC instructor that were on hand - he had me straightened out in no time and my speed around the track increased significantly whilst being much easier on the car.

The car performed superbly, it's given me alot of confidence in it. I've never previously driven it so hard but it just behaved impeccably. The brakes were superb and I never once got a wiff of fade, however I was a bit dissapointed with the feel of them. I replaced the brake fluid last November and fitted EBC Red Stuff Ceramic pads and Zimmerman drilled disks and although the pedal was rock hard throughout the brakes seemed to lack bite. Having said that they stopped me no trouble at all.

I can recommend a Track Sport track day and the FOC instructor is well worth taking advantage of.

By the way Graeme it was nice to meet you there today.

Was the poor 944 who's gearbox decided to give up the ghost on this forum?? I really felt for you, hope it all works out.

Great to meet you too Scott.

Don't know who it was with the Slate Grey Lux that had the gearbox failure last I saw it was heading over the horizon on a low loader.
