won`t work Mark, I`m just cutting and pasting like all other sites but just comes up as a link, I`m obviously missing something here [>:]
When writing a post, there's a toolbar above your text. The far right is a yellow square with what looks like a mountain and a postage stamp on it.
Click on that, and enter the picture link there to embed the pic in the post.

I just copied the direct link from the photobucket page, clicked on the yellow mountain thingy and pasted in the link.
That's my sort of technical explanation! []

Hey, it works! First time I've tried to embed, so to speak. Tony I just copied the direct link from the photobucket page, clicked on the yellow mountain thingy and pasted in the link.
Nice avatar, btw, will she be coming along to the track days too?[]
Cheers
Alan
Sorry to dissapoint guys, but thats not my ass !!!!!!!!!
You need to put the 'image tags' either side of your link "http....contents.....jpg"
Or in the 'reply box' click the image button/postcard (4th from the right above the message box) and paste your link and it will apply the tags automatically.
In your message the image script should look like this (I've added question marks in the middle so the image doesn't load and you can see the script):

not happening !!!!!!! (got to go to work now[])
Tony, you have combined a 'link tag' and an 'image tag'. All you need is the image tags in square brackets with the "http>>>jpg" content in between.
On the Photobucket page with your image(s) is an "Image link code" box with 4 choices. "Share URL, Direct Link etc" left click on "Direct link http /i123.photobucket etc........... and then right click and copy. Then on a forum post
1. Click on "Reply"
2. Click on Mountain (yellow) symbol.
3. Then message appears at top saying "This website is using a scripted window etc....." Click on that message to allow scripted windows and another box where you can click on "Temporarily allow scripted windows" appears. Do so.
4. Then click on Mountain symbol again and this time an "Explorer Prompt window" should appear
5. Right click in the http:// box and paste, click "OK" and your photo should appear![]
I'm useless at this sort of stuff and I'm sure there's a more efficient way but it worked for me[]
Shame about the ass[]

I click the "direct link" in photobucket, that copies it automatically. Then click the yellow mountain thing and just press "control" and "v" together. That inserts the link, and the picture appears by magic. []
