Now much is it really worth?

Parkers suggest that a MY 02 2.7 could be bought/sold for the following prices:

Private (good cond.) - 25,750
Private (poor cond.) - 22,850
P/ex - 24290

This is based on a base 2.7 without options added.

Does this sound about right?

What about the same 2.7 with added options:

Climate
17 Sport Classics
Coloured wheel crests
OBC
CDR 22
Mirror Package including wash/wipe components

What's a good estimation for this? would an OPC offer 24k n P/ex?

I doubt if there is such a thing as a base car with no options. If there was it would be very difficult to sell.

The major factor influencing the values would be mileage. Also the colour combination, history, any warranty (if selling privately) and condition would have some influence.

Part exchange can distort the true value.

I have always had good luck by replying to the "genuine" Boxster Wanted ads in the Sunday Times as an example. So make a few calls and you will have a better idea of whats what.
