NOW SOLD -- New 968 race car .......

Shameless plug for my spare race car. There must be someone out there who wants to transition from trackdays to racing ........ a 968 is the perfect place to begin your racing career.

Hi guys, it is a mighty odd feeling ! car being delivered to Chesterfield tomorrow & the money is in my bank already. I wrote this little ditty on the 'other place' a few minutes back, got a bit emotional! : Well after +10 years of 968 ownership & indoctrination as a Porsche fan.. One road car and two racecars. Many road miles, lots of trackdays and 4 seasons of PCGB Club racing in 968's Add to that, far too many posts on this and the other 968 forum. I have met a load of really good people along the way, some of them I have the privilege of calling friends. Not forgetting the money I have 'invested' into these delightful cars and using them as Porsche intended. .............. Today I find myself without any 968 possessions at all, not even a solitary wheel or an obscure electrical part. No, they have all gone after I managed to sell my 'spare' racecar today, it is a mighty odd feeling so i thought I would share the moment with you. Not sure what else I can say right now but 'thank you one and all' seems to hit the right note.
 
Well done Paul that took a while to shift even though its a great car, just limited customer base I guess. Mine is going well, prob way too heavy still but then so is the driver! Off to Donington on Saturday for the CSCC 40 minute race then a double header in Sept with Porsche Club at Silverstone. D
 
Well done Paul - I've probably got a pair of clear indicator lenses or a spare DME relay, or a CS parcelshelf I can send you if you're missing the 968 experience [:D] Best, Fraser.
 
David & Fraser David- don't worry about the weight thing I never did ! ........ your talent will carry you through regardless & make sure you have a good one at Donington CSCC Fraser - I will see how I get on for now but you may get a call if I hit a low period ............... [:D][:D]
 
Must be very strange to be completely Porscheless. . Hope this doesn't mean the end of your participation on here and at the tracks you have traveled over the past few years.
