It is advertised for £4.555 which is not achievable in this market .I have seen nicer Porsche plates for a lot less Much prefer a number that means something to me ie name .Can only go on one car whereas a personnel one can go on any stick with CUE

I think brand is better than car related Brian as I have WEB 911T and is only really suited to the 911 Turbo but I see your point.

My problem is I can't get my initials and feb 74 is gone, and pol looks shite!

I would like 1NKY but at 100k it's not quite there for me.

the mad thing is in 1992 I paid 7k for my first car and it was for sale at 7-8k in the papers and I was gonna get it and a banger but instead bought a brand new nova. How wrong was I!!!!!!![]

Personally I think POR and FER plates are not worht waht people are asking for them. Now if there are plates like 95RS will mean far more to me.

I sold (POR 1) a few years back it came from the Portuguese embassy . I put it on my other Speedster & sold it along with the speedster for £100K so I got around £40k for the number as the speedster was valued around £60k at the time. I think it ended up being sold to the centre along with ( POR 2 ) which I also located for the buyer of the Speedster. The reason for selling (POR 1) was I managed to get the registration number (356A) for my own 356A Speedster at the time & its still there! I also have POR 356B for sale if anyones interested it would look fantastic on yours Brian.

POR 2 would suite a nautical connection or a wine company .I suppose it could be an investment if Tom sold POR 1 for £40 k and now asking not necessary getting £57 a good return on your cash
