I am after for my 1972 2.4t a black skicky back number plate and silver letters any body know were to buy one from and are they legal

Try classified ads in most (all?) of the classic car magazines. There are usually quite a number advertising sales of numberplates. You'd have to ask them regarding the legality...I think 1972 requires the reflective plates. However, my rallying FIAT 125 had sticky-back (reflective) plates in 1972, so perhaps you'd get away with it.
