Hi, I'm looking for a decent body shop to fix up a few rust spots that are starting to show through. Anyone got any recommendation (or not as the case may be[&:]).

Many thanks
Paul

Hi Paul

Try Mark Clowes at Ninemeister in Warrington..... He's spot on.

Not sure if he will do "bits" though, he specialises in complete rebuilds.

He is very highly regarded by a lot of the NW members.

Hi Paul

Have a look at Graham Green Cars, at Preston, tel 01772 786791, 07967 537662. ( Advert October PP, p127) He has done work for a lot of R18 members and is excellent.

Hi Paul,

Graham Green is very good have been to see him to get a price for a few bits on my old SC. Does a very good job (was a nice '67 911 just out of paint when I went and the finish was superb) but he does tend to do the whole re-paint job and he is not cheap. Gave me a price of 8k for a full re-spray but you do get what you pay for.
My pal has just taken his SC to a place in Macclesfield to be tidied up and he settled on this place after visiting a few bodyshops and he is quite particular. His car should be ready in a couple of weeks so will let you know what it turns out like.
Regards
Dan.

Many thanks for the swift response. Nicola, I used Ninemeister for my last service (and other bits and pieces), so will get him to give me a costing for the paint job.

Thanks for the info David & Dan, will give them a call. Will keep you posted with how I get on.

Any others I should give a try ?

Cheers
Paul
